Coach Helman Mkhalele has confirmed that his final 23-man squad is ready to compete in this year’s COSAFA Cup.

The tournament, which will be held from June 26 to July 7, promises to be an exciting showcase of regional football with 12 nations from the Southern Africa region battling out.

The tournament’s draw, placed hosts Bafana Bafana in Group A alongside Botswana, Mozambique, and Eswatini. Reflecting on the draw, Coach Mkhalele said, “We are ready for the challenge. Each team in our group is strong, but we have confidence in our preparation and our players.”

The hosts are looking for their sixth Cosafa title since they lifted the trophy back in 2021.

The South African Football Association (SAFA) echoed this sentiment, calling on South Africans and football lovers to come out in full force.
