Bafana Bafana will not be replaying their final World Cup qualifier match against Ghana, potentially ending Mzansi’s journey to Qatar net year.
This is after the world football governing body (FIFA) dismissed its protest following Bafana Bafana’s controversial 1-0 loss to the Black Stars last month.
SAFA CEO, Advocate Tebogo Monthlante said once SAFA gets reasons for the outcome, will sit down and weigh its options.
According to the global association, all parties have at least ten days to request, in writing, the grounds of the decision, and that failure to do so will result in the decision becoming final and binding (art. 51 of the FIFA Disciplinary Code).
“We have received the decision without details and we will request FIFA for the reasons and consider our options.”
