As of Saturday (May 30) the cumulative number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in South Africa is
30 967, with 1727 new cases reported from the last 24 hour testing cycle.

The recoveries to date are 16 116 which translates to a recovery rate of 52%.

“Regrettably, we report 32 more COVID-19 related deaths- this brings the total national deaths to 643. We extend our condolences to the loved ones of the departed and thank the healthcare workers who treated the deceased,” said Dr Zweli Mkhize.
