LK Foundation Donates School Uniforms At Dalinceba Primary School

As part of its back-to-school campaign, the LK Foundation donated over 50 school uniforms to underprivileged students at Edalinceba Primary School in Duduza on Tuesday, January 21.

Speaking on the foundation’s behalf, Thandeka Nkosi said they aim to contribute meaningfully to the children’s future.

“Our main aim is to provide support, resources, and guidance to underprivileged learners. We have partnered with the school and our goal is to provide them with long-term support. It is essential to give back and lift each other within the communities.”

The donations for the students comprised school uniforms, shoes, and bags. Deputy Principal Xolani Ngcobo emphasized the extent of deprivation faced by some learners.

“We would like to thank the foundation for showing support and bringing these donations to the school. Most of the children come from poor backgrounds, the lack of uniforms and other important learning material demotivates them”

The parents were immensely grateful for the philanthropic gesture. One of them, Monaliso Macele, expressed her joy: “We are happy that our children have received school uniforms because some parents are unemployed.”
