The attacks, carried out by armed suspects driving a white Toyota Quantum, left two security guards injured and caused millions of rands in damage.

According to police reports, the first attack occurred at a bus depot in Moloto (Kwamhlanga area), where approximately 15 suspects dressed in black and wearing balaclavas stormed in. The suspects reportedly held employees at gunpoint before shooting and injuring a security guard. During the chaos, 16 buses were torched. The injured guard was rushed to the hospital, where he is currently receiving medical treatment.
