Mpumalanga Premier’s Office Opens 2025 Bursary Applications
The Office of the Premier of Mpumalanga has officially opened applications for its 2025 Premier’s Discretionary Bursary Fund, aimed at assisting young people from the province who wish to further their studies at recognised tertiary institutions within South Africa.
The bursary fund targets learners currently in matric, those who have already completed matric, as well as students who are already enrolled at accredited institutions of higher learning but lack the financial means to continue their studies.
According to the Office of the Premier, the initiative forms part of the provincial government’s commitment to empowering youth through education and ensuring that financial challenges do not hinder academic progress.
“The fund is aimed at assisting students from Mpumalanga Province in line with the policy which supports young people who have the potential but lack the financial resources to further their studies,” the statement reads.
