Notice On The Availability Of A Scoping Report For Public Review On The Application For Prospecting Rights For Coal With Bulk-Sampling In Kudung Under Midvaal Local  Municipality, Gauteng Province.

Notice is hereby given in terms of Chapter 6 of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Regulation Government Notice (GN) No. 326 as amended on the 7 April 2017 and published in terms of the National Environmental Management Act (Act no. 107 of 1998) (NEMA), for the application for prospecting rights with Bulk-sampling.

Penuel Nathi (Pty) Ltd is applying to prospect for coal with Bulk sampling on portions 3, 4, 5 and 7 of the Farm Rietspruit 417 IR in Kudung.

Scoping Report Available for Review: A Scoping Report is available for public review and comment on request by contacting us. The due date for submission of written comments is 14 February 2023.

Consultation Meeting: Stakeholders, Interested and Affected Parties (I&AP’s) are invited to register in order to be informed about the dates and the venue of the meeting while adhering to Covid-19 regulations.
