Psalmist Lethabo Rams receives Duduza Legends award

The young gospel sensation, Lethabo Ramasodi, well known as Lethabo Rams, was recently honored as one of the recipients of the Duduza Legends Awards.

Ramasodi (19) shared his recent achievement with Mapepeza.

The Duduza Heroes Awards are organized by Community Witness Media, owned by veteran journalist and former Soweto TV broadcaster Esau Dlamini.

The annual ceremony is made to honor the unsung heroes and people in the southern Ekurhuleni township.

“On the 1st of October, I received an award under the category of Best Gospel Artist of The Year at the Duduza Heroes Award 2022. As a 19 years young musician, it was an honour being part of the most influential people in Duduza. This shows that dreams do come true, it does not matter how young or old you are, everybody has dreams but it’s up to if you want to work on those dreams or you sleep on them,” he explained.

Lethabo says that through his first hit single, Ngingaphezu Komnqobi, it has shown him that he can become victorious by working hard.

The song has received praises locally and has grown his support base. He has plans to become a gospel star.
“I believe that I am going far with my music journey,” he said.

Mapepeza first published a story on Lethabo Rams back in September 2021.

“My aim is to heal souls with my voice, restore faith and hope. I wish my peers would take my recent achievement as a motivation to continue running after their dreams and goals because we definitely reap what we sow. To the youth and people as a whole I would like to say that do not let your background stop you from bringing out the best in you. Even you feel like giving up, remember why you have started and keep going,” Ramasodi added.
