Public Notice Calling For Inspection Of The 2021/2022 Supplementary Valuation Roll And Lodging Of Objections

In Terms Of The Local Government: Municipal Property Rates Amendment Act, Act No 29 Of 2014

Notice is hereby given in terms of Section 49(l)(a)(i) read together with Section 78(2) of the Local Government: Municipal Property Rates Act, 2004 (Act No. 6 of 2004) as amended, hereinafter referred to as the “Act”, that the supplementary valuation roll for the financial year 2021/2022 is open for public inspection from 01/10/2022 to 31/12/2022 during offices hours (07:30 to 15:30) in the following office at the municipal office -Rates section in Heidelberg  and on the website.  

Attention is specifically drawn to the fact that in term of Section 50(2) of the Local Government: Municipal Property Rates Amendment Act, Act No 29 of 2014, an objection must be in relation to a specific individual property and not against the supplementary roll as such. Objection forms for the lodging of objections are available at the Municipal Offices  

Completed objection forms must be returned by hand or registered post to the following address:
