Rapper K9 needs your vote to win!
Ratanda-born hip hop artist, K9, real name Siphiwe Ndhlovu has been nominated for the Best Hip Hop Artist award at the Mzansi Arts & Media Awards (MAMAs).
His latest EP, Grinding, has earned him his first music award nomination.
The awards are meant to recognize local artists in various fields like music, poetry and performing arts.
The MAMA sets a platform for up and coming talent in South Africa, celebrating their hard work and dedication to their respective crafts.
Currently, K9 is working on his upcoming project named Urban Legend.
“It will be dropping in a month or two and features the likes of Chali T, Mandla His Child, Fezz, Mazz Maghandi and more,” he said.
To vote for K9, send an SMS with the words ‘MAMA 106’ to 40439. Each message cost R2 and people can vote as many times as possible. Voting closes on September 30.
