Eligible students must be required to complete a WIL program as part of their academic curriculum.

To apply, students need to submit their applications using the Z83 form, which can be obtained from any Public Service Department. Applications must be accompanied by a CV, academic transcript, confirmation letter from their HEI, and a certified copy of their Identity Document.

The opportunity is open to South African students aged 18 to 35 currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in one of the following fields:

Please note that the program is voluntary, and no financial remuneration or incentives will be provided.

Selected candidates will enter into a short-term, non-remunerated contract with the department, with a minimum commitment of 40 hours.

While this contract is non-renewable, it may be extended based on the requirements of the HEI.

Applications must be submitted by 20 September 2024 to The Director HRM, Gauteng Department of e-Government, No. 75 Fox Street, Private Bag X12, Marshalltown, 2107.
