Two suspects were expected to appear in court after the EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit Members arrested them with load of narcotics.
“A 33 and 44 years of age pair caught on Withaak street, were handcuffed after Officers uncovered a portable digital scale, 13 ziplocks and one plastic bag containing khat valued at R10 500, with R630 cash. The duo facing charges of possession and dealing in illicit substance, were taken to Eden Park police station,”said EMPD spokesperson.
According to the EMPD, the arrest took place on February 9.
