Thirteen-year-old Teboho Mofokeng, who was reported missing earlier this week, has safely returned home and has been reunited with his family.
According to Katlehong police, Teboho returned home without any visible injuries and appears to be unharmed.
The child was last seen on the morning of Friday, July 14, near his home in Moleleki Extension 1, prompting a public alert and widespread concern from the community and authorities.
“We are pleased to confirm that Teboho Mofokeng has been found and is safe. Thank you to all those who always work with us to locate all the reported missing persons. Your commitment does not go unnoticed,” said Katlehong police spokesperson, Constable Sivenkosi Mthwa.
Police have not released further details regarding where Teboho had been during his absence but confirmed that the matter is now considered resolved.
Authorities have extended their gratitude to community members, law enforcement, and media platforms that assisted in the search efforts.
