Vaccination of police to begin soon


The South African Police Service (SAPS) has confirmed that will kick-off its vaccination drive of over 180 000 officers from Monday, July 5, in Soweto, Gauteng.

The Minister of Police, General Bheki Cele, and the National Commissioner of the South African Police Service, General Khehla Sitole will lead the SAPS Vaccination program.

The pair will form part of the first group of police officers and other SAPS personnel who will get vaccinated on the day.

The SAPS has 108 registered vaccination sites across the country where all the men and women in blue will get inoculated against COVID-19.
