Vosloorus SAPS Engages Learners in Crime Awareness and Career Guidance Talk

The Vosloorus South African Police Service (SAPS), in partnership with several stakeholders, recently hosted an educational school talk at Rebontsheng Primary School aimed at raising crime awareness and inspiring learners to pursue successful futures.

During the campaign, which reached more than 700 learners, SAPS officers emphasized the importance of reporting any involvement or knowledge of criminal activities.

Learners were encouraged to take their studies seriously and to remain focused on their academic and personal goals.

The session also introduced learners to various career paths, including opportunities in acting, mechanical engineering, and joining the SAPS.

The goal was to broaden the learners’ understanding of the professional world and motivate them to strive for excellence.

Adding a creative touch to the day, learners showcased their talents through song and dance performances, highlighting the vibrant spirit of the school community.

Stakeholders present at the event included cast members of the eTV show Isitha, Great Villa Foundation, Kia Motors representatives, educators, and local police officers.

The initiative forms part of Vosloorus SAPS’s continued efforts to engage local schools in crime prevention and youth development programs.
