Bafana play back-to-back international friendlies

Hugo Broos, the Bafana Bafana coach, has named a potent team for the upcoming international friendlies against Botswana and Sierra Leone in South Africa.

Both games, against Sierra Leone on September 24 and Botswana on September 27, will be played at Johannesburg’s FNB Stadium.

After losing 1-2 to Morocco in a 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying Group K match in June and losing 0-5 to the world champions France in an international friendlies at Stade Pierre-Mauroy in Lille in March, the Belgian coach expressed his hope that the South African senior national team resumes winning ways.

We restart and this is a chance to try to win games, he said.

Tickets are now on sale for both encounters on TicketPro and kick-off is set for 3pm.
