Mapepeza News Media is a publication that aims to create media products and services that engage, educate and empower South Africans in communities that have limited to no access to credible local independent news in a language they know and understand.
This webiste is an online local news platform that that shares interesting articles and updates from communities in South Africa. We still print the monthly newspaper that is also accessible online on Magzter.
We use our news content to engage, educate and empower people to be informed citizens and use the information to better their lives.
Mapepeza primary targets South Africans residing in the townships located in Gauteng and provinces including inland surrounding areas in South Africa.
Supported by advertising and stakeholder partnerships; our customers include local municipalities, small businesses, franchises, non-profits, philanthropy and advertising/marketing agencies. Our stakeholders are the public, our readers/subscribers, the government and companies across all economic sectors.
