Brutal murders in Lesedi condemned
ActionSA in Lesedi has urgently called on the South African Police Service (SAPS) to allocate all available resources to apprehend those responsible for the brutal murder of a 20-year-old woman in Ratanda.
The victim’s lifeless body was discovered in an open field in Obed Nkosi on Tuesday, September 4.
Webster Kutoane, the regional chairperson of ActionSA in Lesedi, expressed deep concern about the rising incidence of gruesome murders within their community.
He stated, “As ActionSA, we are extremely concerned about the ever-increasing rate of these gruesome murders in our community. Just a few days ago, a man was also murdered and found in the veld. We call on the police to act swiftly in arresting the perpetrators of these gruesome murders.”
Kutoane further urged the community to cooperate fully with law enforcement agencies by sharing any information that could aid in expediting the investigation.
A week earlier, Ratanda police made a shocking discovery of a man in the same veld near the Obed Nkosi township.
He extended heartfelt condolences to the victim’s family and announced the ActionSA Lesedi Regional Executive Committee’s plans to visit and provide support to the grieving family during these challenging times.
In addition to these efforts, ActionSA will compose a letter addressed to the Gauteng Police Commissioner, emphasizing their deep concern regarding the escalating killings in Lesedi.
The party underscores the necessity of restoring law and order in the region, firmly asserting that lawlessness can no longer be tolerated.
Mapepeza News extends its deepest condolences to the affected family and supports the call for justice and swift action against the culprits in this case.
