Deceased person found along the R23 road

Heidelberg police were called to attend a scene where an unknown decomposed body of an African male aged between 25 to 35 was found.

Duscovered at the R23 Road behind the Total filling Station, the unknown man remains unidentified thus far and has been taken to the Heidelberg Forensic pathology services.

Police have since opened an Inquest case and investigation is underway.
