Gauteng to host the Crown Gospel Music Awards

The media across the province are expected to attend the launch 16th edition of the Crown Gospel music awards on Tuesday, August 15 in Johannesburg.

The awards will be hosted in the province for the first time since their inception and aligns to the objective of Gauteng as the preferred destination for hosting major events to stimulate the local economy.

Gospel music is one of the much loved and listened to genres, and these awards have previously proven to open doors for artists and
producers, both nationally and internationally.

Premier Panyaza Lesufi and the MEC for Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation, Morakane Mosupyoe and the founder of the Crown Gospel Music awards, Zanele Mbokazi will be attending the launch which is held under the theme #ANewSeason.
