Get paid for playing tag

Imagine getting paid for the simple game of Tag/Mafrota/Oli/Touch/Mathasha/Kho-Kho. The game most of us grew up playing now is an international competition people get money from.

Growing up there were many different types of players. The fast one who everyone knew rarely gets caught. The slowest who spends half the time chasing the rest.

Then there is the matrix player who always manages to wiggle their way out of being touched.

Lastly there’s the “parkour athlete” the one who jumps, swings, and ducks over and onto things around them.

People around the world have been enjoying the recreational game for generations. So how does someone get paid?

They must participate as a professional tag player and compete with others from around the globe.

The World Chase Tag is an international championship for competitive parkour involving the game of tag. On average, a professional tag player makes between $1,000 and $5,000 a month depending on their skill level.

The international tournament has a little spin to it, as game play takes place within a little quad with an obstacle course added to it. Games are broadcast online and on major sporting channels like ESPN.

If we had known it would become such a big sport all the star players, we had growing up could have ventured into this, becoming a pro making money by running from someone for only 20 seconds.
