Mzansi has the world’s highest youth unemployment rate
South Africa is officially on top of the world’s list of the countries with the most youth unemployed.
The rate has seen a steady increase year-on-year, currently at 62.1%.
The World of Statistics recently tweeted the list, which puts South Africa at the top of all the developed and developing nations, followed by Nigeria.
Switzerland leads the lowest rate with only an estimated 1.8% youth unemployed.
