Netball World Cup calls for volunteers!

Volunteer registration is now open for 300 South African and International citizens to participate in the Netball World Cup which takes place at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) from the 28 of July to 6 August 2023.

No previous volunteer experience or formal qualifications are needed to participate as full training will be provided.

Volunteers will be required for a variety of roles such as hospitality, ticketing, court side assistants and much more, to help Netball World Cup 2023 deliver a truly unique South African World Cup experience.

Completed registration forms should be submitted by no later than Wednesday, February 15.

There are a limited number of volunteer roles available and shortlisted applicants will be invited for an interview at the Volunteer Office at the CTICC/City of Cape Town library/Waterfront Hotel (venue examples).

Areas of Volunteering include: Hospitality, Accreditation, Operational, and Technical.

The following requirements are compulsory to volunteer:
• Applicants must be 18 years and older.
• You have to avail yourself for the full duration of the competition.
• You will be vetted by State Security.
• You will have to provide your own transport to Cape Town and back home.
• You will have to provide own accommodation throughout the competition.
