Sewer Spillage Crisis Hits Khutsong Residents Hard

Toxic streams stretch across the streets, mixing with waste dumps

Residents of Ditukelo Street in Khutsong South Ext 4, Ward 2, Carletonville, are up in arms over a persistent sewer spillage issue that has been plating their lives in discomfort since June this year.

Despite the Ward Councillor being aware of the situation, little to no action has been taken to address the problem, leaving residents feeling helpless and frustrated.

According to local elders, the continuous sewer spillage is a clear violation of their right to a clean and healthy environment, as enshrined in the Constitution.
