13-Year-Old Katlehong Boy Missing

Katlehong Police are appealing to the public for assistance in locating 13-year-old Teboho Mofokeng, who went missing on the morning of Friday, July 14.

“Teboho was last seen around 10:00am at his home at House No. 1214, Moleleki Extension 1, Katlehong, where he lives with his mother. According to reports, he was wearing black tracksuit pants, a blue Lungisani Primary School jacket, and black shoes at the time of his disappearance,” police said in a statement.

Teboho was a Grade 5 learner in 2024 but reportedly dropped out of school and is suspected to be involved in substance abuse.

Anyone who may have seen Teboho or has information about his whereabouts is urged to contact SAPS Katlehong at 011 617 3600, his mother Miss Masechaba Mofokeng at 062 677 1937, or Crime Stop at 08600 10111. Information can also be shared anonymously via the MySAPS app, available on any smart device.

There is no waiting period to report a missing person.
