The MoU — signed under the leadership of the African National Congress (ANC)-led municipality — aims to deepen collaboration in key areas including trade and investment, education, cultural exchange, infrastructure development, and environmental sustainability. The partnership seeks to drive shared learning and open new opportunities for local businesses and communities.

Executive Mayor Cllr Lucky Sele said the collaboration reflects Mogale City’s commitment to building globally connected and investment-friendly cities that empower residents through economic growth and skills development.

This partnership with Neijiang City is not only about strengthening diplomatic relations but also about creating practical pathways for trade, knowledge sharing, and cultural understanding. It aligns perfectly with government’s vision of inclusive growth and people-centered development.
