The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) hereby wishes to announce the payment schedule for the cycle of November 2024.
Older Persons Grants will be paid from the 05th November 2024. Old Age Grant beneficiaries receiving Child Support Grants and Foster Care Grants will also be able to access the linked children grants on the same day.
They will be followed by people with Disabilities on the 06th November 2024 including grants linked to this account. All other grants will be paid from the 07th November 2024.
Beneficiaries have an option to open their own bank accounts with a banking institution of their choice as this will assist them to take ownership of their funds and collection. SASSA/SAPO card can still be used as a debit card at ATM’s and counters of different merchants such as SPAR, Checkers, Shoprite, Boxer, Pick n Pay, Cambridge, and others.
Social grant beneficiaries are also reminded to always keep their card and PIN safe, and not to share their pin with anyone.
