Gospel Music Legend Health Battle Scares Fans
Just days after thrilling audiences in Botswana with his electrifying performances, gospel music legend Solly Moholo has been hospitalized, leaving fans and loved ones praying for his speedy recovery.
The iconic artist, who was in the country to pre-launch his upcoming album ‘Wubani O zo Pepeza’, fell ill upon returning to his residence in Botswana, prompting an emergency hospital dash on Sunday morning (August 25).
“We’re thankful for the excellent medical care Solly is receiving and are optimistic about his full recovery,” said his management team in a statement. “He is much better today than he was previously , and we’re grateful for the love and support of his fans during this challenging time.”
Moholo’s pre-launch gigs in Serowe and Letlhakane on August 23 and 24, respectively, were highly successful, with the artist receiving a warm welcome from the people of Botswana.
However, his illness has cast a shadow over the excitement surrounding his upcoming album.
“Solly’s passion for music and his fans keeps him going, even in tough times like these,” added his management team. “We appreciate the prayers and well wishes from everyone and will keep you updated on Solly’s progress.”
