Third Vosloorus escapee hands himself over
Bafeletse Nyembe, the third escapee, has handed himself over to the Vosloorus Magistrate’s Court on Monday, January 17.
This after he has been on the run from the police since his escape from lawful custody on Friday, January 14 in Boksburg.
Nyembe has appeared in court on a charge of theft as well as an additional charge of escaping from lawful custody.
He has been remanded in custody and he will appear again in court on January 27.
Nkomo and Hlatswayo have also appeared in court for business robbery, attempted murder and possession of unlicensed firearm as well as escaping from lawful custody. They have been remanded in custody and are due in court again on January 27 as well.
The manhunt for the remaining three fugitives continues.
