US President Trump and wife test COVID-19 positive
US President Donald Trump announced that he and his wife, Melania Trump, tested positive for COVID-19.
“We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this together,” President Trump tweeted.
The First Lady said they were feeling good and have since postponed all their upcoming engagements.
“Please be sure you are staying safe and we will get through this together,” the President’s wife said.
Trump’s aide also tests positive
Hope Hicks, the top aide to Donald Trump, has also tested positive for COVID-19. Reports suggest that the results were the reason why the US president and the first wife going for testing. Trump says Hicks has been working hard without taking a break.
