Residents of Ratanda and surrounding communities are encouraged to support local filmmaking as tickets and transport are now available for the screening of Majita – Kasi Story, which was recently selected to participate in the Vaal Film Stockvel 2026.
The film, produced and directed by Ratanda filmmaker Lebohang Mokheseng, founder of Million Dollar Motion Production, will be screened at the Vereeniging Civic Theatre on Sunday, 15 November 2026, at 12pm.
The screening follows the film’s official nomination to the Vaal Film Stockvel 2026, where it will be showcased alongside other locally produced films in an initiative aimed at promoting South African filmmakers and growing audiences for community cinema.
Million Dollar Motion Production has called on residents to support the event and celebrate local talent.

The locally produced film features a cast of talented actors from the community, including Sebusiso Mabena, Nthabiseng Mokoena, Lehlohonolo Mokheseng, Elton Ncube, Lebohang Tlale, Ricardo Mbakada and Thulane Nkabinde.
