Bafana Bafana will return to action in a decisive final Group A match against South Korea at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The match will be played at Estadio Monterrey in Guadalupe, with kick-off scheduled for 03:00 on Thursday.
South Africaโs national menโs team has been preparing for the crucial encounter at its base camp in Pachuca, Mexico, following last Thursdayโs 1-1 draw against Czechia at Atlanta Stadium.
Bafana Bafana will head into the match without key players Themba Zwane and Teboho Mokoena, who are both suspended.
Zwane is serving a three-match suspension imposed by the FIFA Disciplinary Committee after receiving a red card in South Africaโs tournament-opening match against Mexico.
Midfielder Sphephelo Sithole was also sent off during the match against Mexico. However, he is available for selection against South Korea after serving his one-match suspension.
Mokoena will miss the South Korea clash after picking up his second yellow card of the tournament during the draw against Czechia in Atlanta last Thursday.
The encounter is expected to be a major test for Bafana Bafana as they look to finish their Group A campaign strongly.
