Detectives at the Heidelberg Police Station have appealed to members of the public for assistance in locating a wanted suspect, Kennedy Mndau, who failed to appear in the Benoni High Court for trial on 8 June 2026.
According to police, a warrant of arrest has been issued for 40-year-old Bonginkosi Mndau (widely known as Ken), who is wanted in connection with several serious criminal cases.
The suspect is linked to three separate cases, including:
Case 82/06/2023 โ House robbery.
Case 120/06/2023 โ House robbery with aggravating circumstances involving the use of a firearm, kidnapping, and car hijacking.
Case 158/06/2023 โ Murder committed along the R103 route.
Police said Mndau had previously been attending court proceedings but failed to appear on the scheduled trial date and has not returned to court since.
The Heidelberg SAPS is urging anyone with information regarding the suspect’s whereabouts to come forward. Members of the public can contact Heidelberg SAPS on 082 319 9378 or 010 499 4506/07/08.
Police have encouraged anyone with relevant information to assist in ensuring that the suspect is brought before the courts.
