Hotel and Home Design Fair to showcase design and business opportunities in Polokwane
More than 60 exhibitors are expected to participate, showcasing furniture, textiles, décor, artwork and hospitality products.
The inaugural Hotel & Home Design Fair (HHDF) will take place at the T49 Hangar at Polokwane International Airport from 8 to 10 October 2026, bringing together businesses, designers and hospitality professionals to promote South African creativity and create new business opportunities.
The fair, organised by Gentry Business Enterprise (Pty) Ltd, will be open daily from 09:00 to 17:00. It aims to provide a platform for designers, manufacturers and small businesses to connect with buyers from the hospitality, residential and commercial property sectors.
More than 60 exhibitors are expected to participate, showcasing furniture, textiles, décor, artwork and hospitality products.
Featured participants include MAXHOSA AFRICA, which will curate the VIP lounge and present pop-up displays, Zwakala Brewery, the Azael Langa Foundation and BMW Polokwane.
A key focus of the event is business-to-business networking, bringing exhibitors together with hospitality operators, property developers, architects, interior designers and procurement teams. Organisers say the initiative is intended to help small, medium and micro enterprises (SMMEs) access new markets and establish relationships with buyers involved in upcoming projects.
The exhibition will also feature a panel discussion programme led by the Design Institute of South Africa (DISA), offering industry insights while allowing visitors time to engage with exhibitors throughout the event. An outdoor food and beer garden will provide an informal space for networking and refreshments.
