New Engen Champ of Champs Trophy unveiled
The Engen Champ of Champs officially gets underway at the High-Performance Centre in Pretoria from 02 – 04 October 2026.
Engen unveiled a brand-new trophy ahead of the 2026 Engen Champ of Champs. Featuring a fresh, contemporary design, the new trophy captures the spirit of the tournament while celebrating the talent, ambition and potential of the young players identified and developed through the competition.
The newly designed trophy also represents the growth of the tournament and the increasingly competitive level of youth football displayed at the
Engen Champ of Champs, at the heart of the design is a seamlessly integrated football, symbolises the strong connection between youth development, emerging talent and the game itself.
Beyond recognising the tournament’s champions, the trophy reflects Engen’s commitment to investing in South Africa’s youth football development and creating meaningful opportunities for young players.
In keeping with year’s theme, “Where Diski Legends Start”, the trophy represents an important milestone in the journey of players who aspire to progress to higher levels of the game.
The trophy was unveiled on Tuesday, 29 September at the Engen Champ of Champs draw where the 18 participating teams, equally divided between the Boys’ Under-18 and Girls’ Under-20 divisions, were drawn into their respective groups ahead of the tournament.
