Mamelodi Sundowns have officially entered a new chapter of their illustrious history with the launch of their 2026/27 home kit, which proudly features two CAF Champions League stars following the clubโ€™s latest continental triumph in May 2026.

The new kit, unveiled in partnership with global sportswear giant PUMA, pays tribute to Sundownsโ€™ rich history while celebrating the clubโ€™s continued dominance on the African football stage.

The design draws inspiration from the iconic 1994 Sundowns kit, which featured on the cover of the inaugural edition of Kick Off magazine.

The modern interpretation retains the clubโ€™s traditional yellow shirt, blue shorts and white socks, while introducing red PUMA logos, a distinctive thin green stripe on the collar and subtle debossed yellow stripes.

The launch campaign, titled โ€œShine on Masandawana,โ€ brings together current stars and rising talents, including Grant Kenana, Thapelo Morena, Malibongwe Khoza and Kutlwano Letlhaku, alongside club legends who have played a significant role in Sundownsโ€™ success over the years.

Among the legends featured are Daniel โ€œMambushโ€ Mudau, a member of the iconic 1994 team, as well as former captains Roger Feutemba and Hlompho Kekana. Kekana led Sundowns to their first CAF Champions League triumph in 2016, earning the club its first star.

The latest star was added after Sundowns claimed their second CAF Champions League title in May 2026, further cementing their status as one of Africaโ€™s most successful football clubs.

PUMA South Africa Marketing Director Brett Bellinger said the new kit was designed to celebrate the players and generations that have contributed to Sundownsโ€™ remarkable legacy.

โ€œMamelodi Sundowns and PUMA have formed a formidable team over the past decade and with the new kit we wanted to honour and celebrate all the players who have contributed to the clubโ€™s successful legacy,โ€ said Bellinger.

Hlompho Kekana, who captained the team during its 2016 Champions League triumph, said the partnership with PUMA brought a sense of history and inspiration to the squad.

โ€œThe new jersey, which is the first edition with two stars above the clubโ€™s crest, is a piece of history as it pays homage to the past and celebrates the success of Mamelodi Sundowns as the Champions of Africa,โ€ said Kekana.

The new home kit will be available to supporters from 31 July 2026. The Authentic playersโ€™ shirt will retail for R2,399, while the menโ€™s and womenโ€™s Replica shirts will cost R1,299. The kidsโ€™ Replica shirt will be available for R1,199.

The kit will be sold at PUMA retail stores, PUMA.com, JD Sports, Totalsports, Sportsmans Warehouse and Studio 88.
